PHILIPPINE REP APPOINTED TO MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2021

The Mutya Ng Pilipinas Organization (MNP), fondly called Mutya Pilipinas by pageant followers, will be sending a representative to compete in the 24th Edition of Miss Tourism International. The competition will be staged virtually on December 18, 2021. Keinth Petrasanta who hails from Cabuyao City, Laguna last competed in Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2019. A relative newcomer in beauty pageantry, she is considered by some experts as beauty queen material. Coming from humble beginnings, Ms. Petrasanta is a genuine example of the Hometown Girl, a moniker uniquely associated with the organization.

Mutya Ng Pilipinas established in 1965 is one of the longest-running pageants in the country and one of the oldest. It is famous for being the launching pad for aspiring beauty queens nationwide. Cory Quirino, President of MNP aptly describes it as "an aspiring beauty queen's first step in her journey to the crown." Meanwhile, Fred Yuson, Chairman of MNP also reassured pageant fans that "MNP is gearing up for an active year of pageantry in 2022.”

Ms. Petrasanta is presently being trained by Mr. Rodgil Flores of the Kagandahang Flores Camp. She is also receiving personal mentorship from Cyrille Payumo, winner of Miss Tourism International 2019.

Miss Tourism International with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was created in 1994 and led by Datuk Tan Sri Danny Ooi. Its purpose is to bring the world together to promote tourism, culture, and friendship."
